Birth Package

How does the Doula package work?
My Birth Package consists of an initial “getting to know each other” meeting with no obligation to book my services. It's really important to me to ensure I am able to provide you with my best support that I meet with you, your partner, and family.
If you choose to book me as your birth Doula, we will have 2 or 3 antenatal meetings and 1 or 2 postnatal meetings depending on your requirements.
During our antenatal meetings we will cover a depth of information including birth physiology, your birth preferences and options, and exploring techniques to help cope with labour.
I will be available to you either by phone or email to answer any concerns or questions you may have or discuss any information you may need.
My 'on call' period with you will be 24hrs a day, 7 days a week from weeks 38 to 42 of your pregnancy. During the time, I will be readily available to be with you as soon as you need be when your labour starts.
You will have my continuous support through your entire labour and birth process; I can be with you from the first contraction until the baby is safely bundled in your arms and enjoying their first feed.
Postnatally, I will visit you 2 times to ensure you are settled in at home and can provide breastfeeding support should you need it. I will be on the other end of the phone at all times after your baby is born should you have any concerns and I can help direct you towards the appropriate information.
I charge a total of £200 for this package as recommended by Doula UK as a trainee undergoing the recognition process. (This fee covers expenses and costs.) A deposit of £100 is payable upon signing my contract with the remainder due at our 38 week antenatal meeting.
